Annual Meeting

The Parkland Pool annual membership meeting was held today virtually.  

At the meeting, the proposed fiscal year 2022 budget was approved with amendments to allow for construction of a new accessible family bathroom/shower section in the bathhouse.  The board hopes to get that as well as bathhouse roof repairs completed before the season opens on May 28.

A dues increase of approximately 5% was approved by the membership, as recommended by the board.  Dues for 2022, effective April 1, will be:

A new board of directors was also elected.  Edward Murtagh left the board after many many years of service to Parkland Pool as a board member, swim team representive and referee, and young child swim instructor.  We wish Ed all the best in his retirement!  Joining the board as new directors are Claire Kalala, a long time member who also ran Parkland's swim lesson program last year (and will do so again this year) and Ann Schurman, an active Parkland member and volunteer.  The 2022 Board of Directors:
