Unaccompanied Minor Policy Members aged 10 and up are permitted to visit the pool without a parent or guardian. Children aged 10 through 13, inclusive, may do so only with the submission of an Unaccompanied Child Parental Consent Form. The form must be filled out and signed, then submitted to staff at the pool front desk, where it will be kept on file. Parkland Pool asks all parents and guardians to read the form carefully and review it with your 10 - 13 year old children you wish to allow to visit the pool without you. Thank you.
COVID-19 Notice: The latest information on Covid-19 restrictions for this summer is great news. Montgomery County is relaxing most Covid restrictions as of May 28, 2021. As a result,
There will be no need to reserve time slots (and thus no hour dedicated to seniors) for swimming this year. We will still ask members and guests to check in or sign in when entering the pool.
The wading pool, very popular with our youngest members, will be open this year!
The Parkland Pool snack bar, selling packaged food and beverage items, will be open!
The playground will be open from the start of the season.
Members may bring guests with them to the pool.
We are asking members and guests, for now, to wear masks and maintain distance while inside the bathhouse or outside on the grounds unless isolated with your own household or group. This is due to our sensitivity that our many children members and guests may not be vaccinated, or even eligible for vaccination, for some time yet. Masks should not be worn when in the pool.
