Parkland Pool Association hosted a special event to honor the memory of long-time beloved member James Patrick (J.P.) Mulhern.
J.P. Mulhern was a long-time very active member. He gave his heart to the Parkland community for many years and in many ways, including as vice president from 2000 - 2004. He was in charge of the infrastructure and could fix almost anything. His work is his legacy, but in particular, he initiated and installed the Parkland playground, of which he was justifiably proud, bringing much happiness to children then and now. We are honored to dedicate the playground to J.P. with a special ceremony, in memoriam. The dedication plaque was presented to J.P.'s family - his wife Jane, son Jamie, and daughters Jessica and Julie. The plaque will be installed on the playground.
