Every summer memory depends on people stepping up and pitching in. When you volunteer, you help us keep Parkland Pool a welcoming, affordable place for all. Co-Op Model Pilot Program
for 2025 Members
For 2025, we're trying something new! If you're a returning member, we're piloting a Co-Op model where each individual/family completes 3 volunteer hours per year. Volunteering helps spread the workload, helps keep Pool costs competitive, and ensures everyone enjoys the pool. Read more about our Co-Op Pilot program here.
We won't charge members this Summer 2025 as it's a Pilot program. Volunteer hours will be reported in 2025 and members will be asked to pay in 2026 for any time not volunteered in 2025. Hours will not carry over year to year. Note: The Co-Op Pilot Program does not apply to trial members or first year members (single/limited/family).
Many successful pools use this model, and as it's a pilot, can be curtailed or updated if needed. Exceptions can be requested by emailing our Volunteer Coordinator here.
- 3-hours volunteer time for member between ages 19-59
- or $100 for each 3-hours not worked
- 2-hours volunteer time for each member between ages 60-69
- or $50 for each 2-hours not worked
- One family member may work all hours for a membership.
