Who We Are

Parkland Pool is a local community pool in Silver Spring, MD tucked north of University Avenue by  Sligo Creek Parkway. We have a growing membership with over 300 households, and a majority of these households are families with children.  We believe in equity and have offered the lowest rates around the area and even offer options for community members who cannot fully afford membership. Our grounds are perfect for picnics and we also have a playground and spacious sandlot. We also have volleyball, basketball and ping pong. Parkland pool also offers swim lessons to members for all ages and abilities through the Rainbowfish Swim School. We also have a swim team that competes in the Montgomery County Swim League, the Parkland Whales. Parkland Pool subsidizes families with children who want to participate in the swim team so that money is not a barrier to a child’s athletic aspirations. Learn more about our swim team here.
