Parkland Swim Team Looking for Coach!

The Parkland Whales, located in Silver Spring, MD is seeking an energetic and dynamic individual to serve as a Swim Coach along with a team of coaches for our 2026 summer swim season running from Memorial Day until the end of July. The Parkland Swim Team is  recently small-moderate size swim team in the Montgomery County Swim League, Division 0, consisting of approximately 35 swimmers from the ages of 8 – 13 and organized by parent volunteers. The team is a young, rapidly growing, and enthusiastic group with a focus on teamwork and friendship.

The position is a low-pressure coaching position in partnership with two additional head coaches who will facilitate afternoon practices, manage swim meets, and help lead the team for the summer swim season. This is a great opportunity for someone with limited coaching experience looking to quickly gain experience as a head swim coach for a summer swim team.
