Annual All Members Meeting

3/29/2026

Hello Parkland Pool Members,
We had a great All Member Meeting on Monday and happy to say the Proposed 2026 Budget Dues/Fees Structure was discussed, voted on, and passed!
And, congrats to the 2026 Approved Parkland Board & Volunteers Leaders!
See the 2026 Parkland Member Meeting Slides that were presented and discussed during the meeting.

To ensure all the Board of Directors and existing Volunteer Leaders experience Parkland Pool as their "happy place" -- and to ensure Parkland not only survives, but also thrives! We cannot continue into the future in an unsustainable, ripe-for-burnout manner. We need at least 3 to 7 people to come forward ASAP to fulfill the remaining roles:

We will not stop bothering you until at least ALL the positions are filled. We simply cannot be "firing on all cylinders" until all the roles and responsibilities are realized.

Board members:
1. Secretary
2. Director
3. Director

Volunteer Leaders (can be filled by any Parkland member - on the Board or not on the Board):
1. Camps & Rentals Coordinator - we need you RIGHT NOW can can train you easy-peasy; tasks are largely limited to winter to update camp contracts & then be the point of contact for the 3 morning camps during the summer
2. Webmaster - discrete tasks on an as needed basis (and as ambitious as you have passion and time for)
3. Volunteers Coordinator - to lead the 6 spring and 6 fall clean-up events, etc.
4. Membership Recruiter - we have tons of cool ideas to do marketing events at the nearby schools and houses of workship, etc., etc. to help us raise a portion of the $300k+/5 years needed for capital improvements
5. Fundraising Committee - help raise a portion of the $300k+/5 years needed for capital improvements
6. Sponsorship Committee - raise a portion of the $300k+/5 years needed for capital improvements
7. Legal Coordinator - help review contracts with the camps, the pool management companies (multiple bids), etc.

Please email [email protected] to signal your interest, clarify details, and be part of history: creating the enabling conditions for Parkland Pool to ACHIEVE BIG, POSITIVE CHANGES!

We literally cannot do it without you.

Yours truly,
Michelle Perez
Parkland Pool President (2026 to 2028)
